“NWL Season 8, Round 4

Things looked good for the Hams at the beginning of the game.
One star missed due to a previous injury, one missed due to a niggle.
Then the first few blocks of the game sent more off the pitch.

After the first kickoff, the rats could not manage to field a whole team.

The Hams team leader, Marc Bludger scored first, for a skill. The rats retaliated with a quick 2 turn score due to poor defensive positioning by the Hams. The orcs did their best to stop the drive, but leaping rats are hard to catch.

With only a few turns left in the half, both teams set up for a gobbo toss. The Hams get the ball off the poorly placed kick and get the ball to gobbo Oh No! Troll Andy McKillem then did his magic and flung the agile little greenskin down the field. Mully had his rats evenly spaced across the endzone, with tackles and prehensile tails here and there. Fortunately for the Hams, Oh No! is one sneaky little git and managed to squeeze between 2 gutter runners for a score.

Not to be outdone, Mully manages a nicely executed 1-turn with his sprinting long legged GR, Went to Bed with a 10... Woke up with a 4.

Shortly after the half, Went to bed with a 10 was put to sleep under the boot of Thrower Gus Garrote, and he didnt wake up till the end of the game.

A second gobbo toss ended in a bloody mess as Troll Andy McKillem mishandled Oh No! and sent him off the field with a serious injury (nothing permanent though!)

Gus Garrote takes up the ball and moves downfield. Poor offensive positioning on Coach Prophanes part allowed a -2d block by a GR who scored the necessary pow, took the ball and deftly dodged and leaped back down the field for another touchdown (3 total for GR Praying to the Porcelain God)

Another good game, I made Mully cuss and whine, so you know it was fun!
