In a game that started under dubious conditions, the end was as tense as it could get.

After several restarts and disconnections, the game was finally restarted from turn 1 when transported computer files could not be retrieved...

Morleys Revenge reared its ugly head for the Tribute, but not causing much distraction until well into the game.

Both teams were careful and aggressive at times. The Hams managed to go up early 1-0 on some failed dodges by the elves. T2G followed up quickly with a return score to end the half 1-1 after the Hams failed to set up a TTM play.

The next turn starts with the Hams kicking to the elves, who capitalize on their agility and speed (not to mention their 2 ST 4 orcs masquerading as elves) and quickly the score is 2-1, Tribute.

The next turn sees the Hams setting up for a TTM again, and with only 8 players on the field, the elves have a hard time defending against it. The ball falls almost in the hands of sure footed gobbo, Oh No! but an orc scoops it up and hands it him. Andy McKillem snatches the little git up and skillfully throws him downfield, landing near an elven defender. Undaunted, Oh No! scampers past him and into the endzone. Score 2-2.

Having less and less players to field, the elves again set up and begin their downfield push, but the orcs are ready for it this time, managing to stop the sylvan march toward the endzone.

In the very last turn, the orcs make a grab for a loose ball. Thrower Gus Garrote grabs the ball and tosses it to a blitzer withing in scoring range, but recieving orc fummbls the ball and the game ends, 2-2.

It was an amazing game, tough both ways, coached well, no mistakes on either side.

While a good game overall, this date will be marked in the history books as a redletter date for the St Louis Hams. #91, Drunken Little, received the game MVP, pushing him to 20spps and gaining him his second skill. This is important because Drunken Little is an original member of the team, a veteran of 8 Seasons and 42 games. Up until this game, Little also led the Hams in blocks, now with 261 (he was surpassed by Anthony Shallow-Grave with 263) It took him 1 year to get his first skill, block, and nearly a year later, he finally gets his second skill. He wisely choose tackle with much help from Coach Prophane to help battle the remaining to elf teams this season.

Congratulations Drunken Little, it was a long time coming!
