“Return of the Jedi I - round 1

The Tatooine Thugs faced the Endor Holocause Fallouts in the first round of the Return of the Jedi. A bunch of hardened thugs against a bunch of furry, cuddly ewoks doesn't look like much of a challenge, but when the little space koalas got two AT-ST's on the LOS it's suddenly a different ball game.
Two make matters worse my only tackler, Barada, had a fierce hangover (Bonehead) and the ewoks won the kickoff which enabled them to tie up my not so agile combatants.
Despite some good fortune with dodges and a -2 block on a treeman it quickly was clear that it wasn't the AT-ST's that carried this team. Logray and Wicket were amazing on their own and often landed combined 1d blocks and even quite a few -2d blocks that destroyed the Thugs game plan. Fortunately the AT-ST's proved poorly repaired and spent much of their time falling to pieces and having a hard time getting up again.
Logray scored the first TD, but a fortunate kick enabled the Tatooine Thugs to tie the match before the half time break. Ortugg ran in the TD, which will likely not be a common feature for this team.
Ak-Buz, who spent the entire first half in the KO box, decided to wake up in time for the second half, so it was 4 vs 4 again.
In the second half the treemen quickly disabled themselves, but things were still rough as the ewoks fought with spirit and determination. I didn't aid my own cause by coaching quite sloppy as well.
Things looked really grim when Wicket managed to single handedly foul out Jabba (BH'd), but shortly after Barada could break lose with the ball. The hung over smuggler managed to slip and make a fool out of himself, but a failed dodge from the ewoks bought him time to get up and run in 2 - 1.
This didn't go down well for the ewok crowd. Hundreds of angry furballs swarmed the pitch dragging down the three remaining Tatooine Thugs. Fortunately for them time was running out, otherwise the ewoks would have had a clean pitch to run in their equalizer.
