The thrower is so shocked at the unsupported audacity of this move that he fails to throw up a suitable defense, is knocked over the and the ball scooped up for a 3-1 lead.

Late second half, orcs trailing 3-2 and trying to surround the ball, Strider holds back until racing forward to throw a long-bomb pass to a breakaway gutter. The pass is dropped, but the ball is far enough away that no orc can get back in time to possibly advance the ball and score the equalizer.
