“After a 2 week hiatus, the Pies were very disturbed at having to face the rotted flesh of Leprosy. After all, they were hungry and the prospect of only being served that which was already spoiled just wasn't very motivating. Seeing the lack of fire that had existed in previous weeks, the coach was forced to resort to some other tactics. As the other Round 5 games unfolded, it became evident that Elf meat would be attainable once again, but only if they were to beat the Rot.

Leprosy received the opening kick and was making decent progress up the field. However, a miscalculation on their part allowed Red Beard to make a diving tackle which ended the opening drive. Red Beard's determination fuled the Pies into action as they began clearing the pitch and making their way toward the ball. Clepto stole the pigskin and the half ended with him sauntering into the end zone for the game's lone score.

The second half consisted of a major skrum between the two teams at midfield. Despite all of the bashing, both teams proved that they brought their best armor as no major injuries were recorded.
