HAndicaps in my favour - Virus (no players effected) and Illegals drugs (Kitten got +STR), and I think maybe Bad Press.

What a dauting task this was... against an orc team that was the clear favourite to pound my team into the ground.

However, the girls received 1st half and gave as good as they got, sending off one guard orc BH by a foul. The orcs in response did nothing more than push my players around, with a distintc lack of POWs. The girls went 1-0, and the orcs couldn't reply.

2nd half was a completely different story. With 3 deaths in as many turns it was looking very bleak, and the girls were desperately trying to balance up defending and staying alive. A big loss was Kitten who SI niggled, but the apoth failed! She had been such a great player too! :(

The orcs looked destined to score, but some poor stalling left the ball carrier solo... and some deft dodging and a gfi and 1 db blitz resulted in a pow... another gfi and the ball was picked up!!! The crowd wents nuts! But the orcs could still blitz the zon... but with no rerolls... and it was a push back or skull!... Game won... against the odds!... But I was in VERY poor shape to face PeteW in the final... although the 100k meant I could buy two linos and a catcher.

Thanks for the game... was tough to get us on at the same time... but was worth it in the end!”
