“Well, this was a really close match, punctuated by a bit of luck on both sides. My score came in the first half on (what else) but a passing play, after I lured the norse to one side of the field and made a desperate lunge down the other with the slower than average Faerie Queen. There were some fouls at the start of the match as each team tried to tip the numbers in their favour, resulting in a seriously injured norse and some KO'd elves. Unfortunately for me, The Mythical Beasts of Yore ended up shorthanded all second half, as Gargoyle napped in the KO box.

The Beasts put on a valiant defense, shifting, plugging holes and giving it their all, but the superior numbers and fierce training of the norse pushed the scrum down field. However, at turn 7, the beasts managed to pop the ball loose at the sidelines, dodge past the norse, scoop up the ball and toss it for the interception!!!

Tub Stubfoot surged over the line and basked in the adoration of the crowd as the ref signaled for the tying TD.
