| There is an order of High Elven monks sequestered away from their peers and surrounded by old lore, deep in the mountains overlooking the sand-blasted lands of the dervishes in sun-scorched Araby. This order has carefully cultured rituals once lost to the sands of time and chaos, allowing them to summon with great beasts not often seen in lands far and near. The most gifted and brave among the monks will commune with these fantastic beasts and channel some aspect of them. Blessed with power and skill, these chosen few band together for the greatest pursuit of all - glory on the blood bowl pitch. Known the the old and the wise, once great and feared creatures assemble to watch each match. Tired are they of hearing the exploits of trolls and lowly minotaurs. Why have their once magnificent names stopped resounding throughout smoke-filled ale halls and gold-gilded palaces?
