“Um, I'm not sure what to say, except, wow, I love losing players! Really, it was time for someone to die, but I agree with BadMrMojo, this was another dominating match for me, and I'm glad that he was able to tie the game. As you can tell, he can explain to you about the match in greater detail than I can, but I agree with him on another point: I was an ass to put one player on each person. However, it was dodgy vs dodgy, a truly fun game in my opinion. No worries about the kill, I needed a rude awakening. :-) Kudos to a great opponent!”

“Lucky lucky tie on turn 8 to end the game. Pred dominated the match (as you'll see if you watch the replay) and I barely squeaked by. Initially I kicked and Got the Ref (not of much use to a team that doesn't really foul, but hey. It beats the other guy getting it) and he scored in two turns despite leaving the ballcarrier exposed, walking right through my nine little elves.
Then I ran a bungling offensive drive to barely squeak by and score on turn 6. I completely blew whatever I was thinking and ended up having to pull a reverse with the LW and use the speed to keep out of reach. Pred received and snuck away from my shadower to end the half 2-1 in his favor.
Second half I received and stumbled in with Cognac to tie it up. Kicked off and got a blitz in my favor. Great. Completely bungled my defense, however and crept in to score on turn 6. My turn 7 I received and managed a decent set up with Kahlua deep with the ball and Cognac and Limone downfield for a long bomb. Pred's only real slip of the game (undoubtedly because he was being rushed and short on time, sadly) was putting a single defender on each of them and hitting at the line. I managed to dodge away with Limone to blitz Cognac free for the long ball and the turn 8 tie. No mistaking it, though. Pred owned my butt and I got lucky.
The kill was off turn 8 hitting in the first half. I feel like an ass for that one, but fortunately it was a rookie. The SI was off a clean hit, so no guilt for that one, at least. : )
