Absinthe is most easily recognized by his brilliant green skin and accessories. This actually stems from a practical joke, started over 1400 years ago in the second age by the 122nd iteration of the Cordials. The player who gave up his name to become Absinthe was accepted for his phenomenal strength, but he came with an old war wound, a misshapen foot. As such he was a bit slower, less nimble and stronger than the rest of his fellows, so they started jokingly calling him 'Ye Olde Greeneskinne.'<br />
Since then, every player who stepped into the role of Absinthe has dyed his skin the chartreuse color of his namesake. Most of them consider the alternative way to honor their predecessor would be to maim their own foot. Kind of makes the green skin a little more acceptable.
