The Mighty Underdogs stood face to face with a buff team of hairy avengers, the dangerous blockers of everything, dwarves. Dwarves with many skills. However, the Underdogs could not and would not feel fear. Short dwarves meant good visibility. That meant something, right?

Highlights:

*Bjorn Toobiewild Badly Hurt a Longbeard on the second turn.

*On that same turn, Bernhard Thrauvin completed a steady long pass to the newcomer Jack Wabbit in one tacklezone.

*Jack Wabbit, having used a reroll to catch the ball, pushed away the pesky dwarven runner covering him and blitzed onward to the endzone. He needed to Go For It for the touchdown and faceplanted quite spectacularly on the first roll.

*Next turn, another blitz by Jack Wabbit pushes away Dan Henderson who had ran forth to cover the ball and Jack Wabbit finalizes the touchdown he had been so close to one turn ago.

*The Dwarves secure the LOS as well as they can and attempt a quick pass in the backfield. George St Pierre is hit by the ball but fails to understand what it is or what should be done with it.

*Dietrich Sweengboutzie charges into the backfield and grabs the ball from under George St Pierre's nose. His teammates lag behind due to struggles with the dwarves and Dietrich is sandwitched between two burly Runners.

*With aid from Ruben Andgrahndin Dietrich pushes away one Runner, dodges out and runs to the endzone. Touchdown!

*The last three turns of the first half go horribly. The Underdogs repeatedly run into dwarven fists under their own initiative even when outnumbering the opponent. They are nonetheless able to delay the dwarves until the whistle.

*The second half starts with the traditional strong and steady dwarven drive.

*Dmitri Kamõkazovan gives Chuck Liddell a chance to get more closely acquainted with the crowd.

*By turn five, the dwarven drive has degenerated into a pile of hairballs and humans in the middle of the pitch. As the tussle continues, Runner Dan Henderson manages to snag the ball and run off.

*Niels Andprawposes attacks a dwarf, gets a fist to the face and is badly hurt. This is the second time in three games and his nose is starting to lean left quite quaintly.

*The dwarves score a touchdown on turn 6.

*The Humans receive - there are three more turns for scoring another touchdown.

*Four linemen charge forward to act as catchers.

*Once again, the Underdogs seem to forget all their skills. Archibald Gracetripsy swings at a dwarf, misses it and manages to punch himself square between the eyes. He is badly hurt. The dwarves experience the same fate this time with Anderson Silva collapsing from Ruben Andgrahndin's ominous presence.

*Bernhard Thrauvin goes for a Short Pass and fumbles the ball. He is immediately assaulted by two dwarves but manages to stay on his feet.

*Once again Bernhard Thrauvin demonstrates his extraordinary knack for redeeming his mistakes by dodging out of the dwarves' reach, then jumping back up close and personal to grab the ball and proceeding to complete a flawless Long Pass from the tacklezone to Kim Jungblawd.

*Kim, with one steady GFI, scores a couchdown bringing the score to 3-1 on the very last seconds!

*Hans Onzebhall is awarded the MVP. Nobody knows why.

bigclegg was a cool coach. I don't really like how he exploits the TS system to gain an unfair advantage but obviously enough, it doesn't make his team invincible. Even with the streak of skulls I had there in the middle.
All in all, I had fun and I think bigclegg did, too.
Good luck, perhaps we shall meet on the pitch again.
