“Even luck? Not in the slightest.

The Rotters were, like the Orcs, a man down from the start, but the cruel hand of fate decided the game. The orcs ran a solid game with no plan in mind save to slow the Rotters down and nab the ball, then figure out what the hell to do with it. As it is, they decided the best bet was to run towards the goal line and score, a lot.

The crowd showed their displeasure with one of the kick offs and left 3 players standing on the Rotters side after an invasion, not even bothering to touch the orcs - remarkable, and something I've not quite seen before. That left another uncontested run for the line and only changing weather prevented a final GFI to round off a scoop, run, gfi, quick pass, run, handoff, gfi and... argh. Tripped entering the end zone to prevent the 5th, but the luckless rotters had had enough by then I think.

Matt - no skill beastmen are a swine to play with, seemingly not much good at anything save blitz, and even then - well you saw what my -2 dice blocks against the beast did. With block on my side I hoped to avoid a skull, and managed it in all 3 attempts.

3 more players with mighty blow and one with block from this game, crap cash and still lacking an apo, but this team might actually start shaping up, with 10TD for, none against. My 'quest' to find an orc setup I'm happy with continues, and I'm maybe playing them wrong, going for the score rather than the splat, but with the thrower back for the next game, things are shaping up nicely.

Just... need... more... nnngh... cash!

Thanks for the game Matt - you're a good sport - I'd suggest checking out the help/faq section and the rosters/strategies section for teams and potential starting rosters - that's what I do, and it's all good advice from far far better coaches than me.
