“With a strong looking chaos team visiting, Nobbla was conscripted to make the game a bit more competitive. All of a sudden, Coach Chainsaw has become a bit more eager to win with the team since, under Garret's captaincy, the team has been clawing back it's win-to-loss ratio.
The game itself was a tense affair, with an organized orc defense keeping out the first half Zubzuri K'thaa drive, and Nobbla not being as involved as the crowd had hoped and sent off for a foul - joining a beastman and lineman whom also incurred the wrath of the referee. However the 'Saws were on form and in the end it was a disappointment not to have scored, having stolen the ball multiple times from a porous Chaos offense. As it opened up, Murdock dashed through the middle, throwing the ball carrier to the floor and catching the rebound, in an unusual display of athleticism unbecoming of a black orc. As he headed for the line, basking in the glory of the crowd's adulation, a beastman bored him from behind, forcing him to sit out the rest of the game.
Still, at half time, the advantage lay with the 'Saws.
Whatever Coach Chainsaw said at half time, it didn't work. A strong Team Chainsaw performance became a tepid one and another tense maul ensued. Fortunately Garret had other plans, occupying several opposing players and taking a beating in the process. As he was pummelled, some Chaos players slipped their markers to knock over the ball carrier near the sideline. A warrior made a break down the opposite flank, star player Klihza Kolddeath scooped up the ball, and went for the unlikely long bomb! The crowd gasped, it fumbled, and the beastman and his two supporting team mates were in serious trouble. Klihza tried an unlikely escape, and slipped to knock himself out. His friends were thrown into the stands - the crowd kindly surfing them back to their dugout. With numbers dwindling, Coach Ankkh made the most of his available players to force the game down to the wire, but in the end there were just too many orcs and they slipped through to score the winner in the dying moments of the game.
An official from Team Chainsaw confirmed that the head of security got the sack after the buoyant crowd failed to inflict any injury on the players tossed into the stands. Former player Psycho, the replacement head of security, promised to beat fans near the pitch until they were in a frenzy so that future occasions served up more entertainment. He then walked off with a sack slung over his shoulder, carrying the dismembered body parts of his predecessor.”
