When he walked into the training ground this orc proclaimed himself to be a future great, thus earning his nickname Garret the Great. It was meant to be ironic, as he is of an awkward build and, when in full flight, really looks like he shouldn't be able to play a sport as tough as blood bowl. In fact, it was widely rumoured that he was only in the team due to a poker debt to Garret's father that Coach Chainsaw was unable to pay - accepting a place for his son as compensation.
However, there is something to be said for Garret's self belief and his determination and persistence has seen a rapid rise through the Chainsaw ranks. And thus the nickname "Garret the Great" has evolved from a snyde mockery to a grudging respect among teammates who have been made to eat their words. His skills have seen him outlast many of his contemporaries to become team captain.
With the injuries mounting, after a very impressive run of 116 games, his time in the team comes to an end.
