“The presence of the Mighty Zug turned this game in to a real blood bath. The undead spent most of the game with more players on the KO'd bench than on the pitch while the humans lost a player on a GFI who joined the opposition as a zombie. An odd, close game that ultimately could have gone either way. The Packers fans were pleased with the draw however, having overcome a significantly lower TS and the presence of one of the games greats.

A good opponent who gave me a really close game that could have swung either way in the end.”

“The Whirlwinds payed a fond farewell to one of their finest Linemen today. 'Crazy' Stefan was a popular player, very quick on his feet, taken down and stamped into the ground by some uncaring Undead.

Despite taking the lead against a slightly inferior team, the death unnerved the Whirlwinds, as they made silly mistakes, and got pegged back, denying them only their 3rd ever win.

The ever-popular, top-scoring 'Steamboat' Kurt also misses the nex game due to a niggling injury, which was perhaps a bigger blow to the Whirlwinds than the death of Stefan.”
