Highlight of the match was Egeroag Lightlyre trying to sack coach Originalfrankster's gutter-runner Silent Running when he was alone in his own endzone and the score was 1-1, burning a re-roll, rolling skull/pow-skull both times, choosing the skull/pow so both went down, him just getting knocked over, and me suffering a niggling injury. Nuffle definitely came for my ass in this one, making up for all the times he has helped me out in the last few games.

Despite this, I had the chance to draw the game, but made a mess of the final turn. I thought I had marked up all his players so they would have to make ag3 dodges and/or gfi to either blitz a receiver free or dodge themselves free to receive. However, I failed to check where his ag4 Storm-Vermin was, and he dodged free to blitz away my marker from his thrower Finesse, who caught the ball and ran in for the winner.

The injuries didn't matter all that much during the game, as he had as many in the KO box as I did the treatment room, so we were playing with pretty much equal numbers. This was a really tight game but I was ultimatley outplayed by a better coach who knew exactly where his players were when it mattered most.”
