“Leijonet was on the receiving end of poor dice all game. Many turns went by with dangerous players failing to knock over opponents, if any knockdowns were scored at all. When I left gaps, minor risks were punished with multiple failed dodges. Leijonet didn't make mistakes until late in the game, so the "luck" was not a result of poor tactical play as can be the case.
Add to that a tactical foul removed danger player Vigour from the field, a bump on the head that kept him out of 3/4 of the game.
The game finished on a high note for Chainsaw with a throw to rookie black orc Death Doctor who'd sprinted an extra yard to make it to the endzone and was rewarded for his efforts when rookie thrower Chuck! scooped up a loose ball and tossed it to him. Perhaps he is looking to follow in the footsteps of his recently deceased speedy brethren Tombstone.
Another good team performance, as has been the Chainsaw trend (despite the absence) looked to be rewarded as fans swelled into the bars to rejoice and savour the victory. A higher gate is not expected at the next match though, as fights broke out with the opposing Words fans. The good news is the fights were not contained and built up into a full on riot, and the better news is that the chaos fans sustained significantly higher losses than their orc counterparts.”
