Overall, the other team was as eccentric as ours, and the match was a fast-paced one, with a forced turn over almost every turn. It seems our skink warriors shall need to practice their dodging, or Ixuotlapacht will eat-- ...I mean, punish, them.
Several important plays were made, but mostly the our luck from the gods was called into question. By throwing their lesser sacrifices at us, the vampires were able to get away with the Ball of Blooded Bowling, and thus outpace us in score. If this were our tribal game Exphuoten, we would have defeated the infidels!!
*Ahem*, anyway. Our new Saurian player has been signed, and the team is ready to progress further into the league. IXUOTLAPACHT WILL EAT YOU ALL!

Oh yessir Count Vlad and his fellows are a mighty team. I do worry sometimes that they think of us as little more than fodder, but I don't worry sir. No siree. They feed me, clothe me, and all they ask is a little nip now and again. Of course sometimes they ask us to clear a path so one of the gentry can take the ball, but that's what we're hear for? Right? I do hope Bill is going to be fine later. It does worry me when players fly 15 feet before landing.

Well that was an interesting experience. First time run with a Vampire team, I wasn't expected OFAB to kick off quite so often, and cause turnovers that common. But it did. The thralls were highly effective at bashing the Skinks around, and the Vamps were terrors on the field. Unless they went for a bite and then I loose two players.
Ehlex was a bit unlucky with the dodgy rolls, but then I felt that by making him have to make so many rolls, it was bound to fail sooner or later.
I was embarrassed when six Skinks beat the crap out of one of my Vamps early in the match, but I made up for it by jumping on his Krox.
Much comedy from failed passes to tripping over their own feet resulted in a 20 minute first half. The second was punctuated with Ehlex's lightning touchdown followed by over half his team either badly hurt or KOd. This allowed me to make a miracle two turn touchdown with my vamps. It was close, and no doubt when we face each other again, much more blood will be split.
What a waste of good blood :D
