“Nice, relatively clean game. beanbill managed to score first (and rather quickly so) while my elves were still sleepy. Then the Skaven proceeded to play a very good defense, putting their Rat Ogre in front of my ballcarrier after I'd unwittingly pushed him back without following up. Gave me a bit of trouble, but Wardancers are hard to contain, and after some leaping and dodging, it was 1-1.

After this I had a lucky streak on the kickoffs, first getting a blitz which allowed my team to catch their own kick and eventually score, and then perfect defence, which made it rather tricky for Not in the Face! to score.
beanbill was a bit luckier than me with the dice early on, but this seemed to even itself out eventually, and counting my kickoff results, fortune was clearly against him this match. Even so, it has to be pointed out to his credit that he played it like a gentleman and focused on the ball (even through some rather dashing longshots) rather than resorting to trashing my team.
