Well at home on the line of scrimmage and among the most hard-working elves of Hiten Mitsurugi, Turandil Calathien was usually the first to throw himself in the path of a charging Ogre, or singlehandedly stall two or three opposing players, forcing them to pummel him into the ground before letting them make themselves useful elsewhere on the pitch. Turandil was extremely tough and resilient as far as elves go, and took many a hit during his time in Hiten Mitsurugi, but eventually fate caught up with him and an unfortunate block rendered him a smashed ankle.
When Turandil had recovered his spot on the team roster was still held open for him, in the light of his long and faithful service - however, no longer able to move around the pitch as swiftly as he wished to, the noble line elf decided to step down and leave his position for younger and quicker elves eager to prove themselves on the pitch.
Nowadays, Turandil has, believe it or not, opened a coaching school for elves looking to become blockers. We hear he has quite a number of students, too. All honour to you, Turandil Calathien.
