“I should have won this game. In the first half, I messed up a frenzy blitz that would likely have led to me scoring. In the second, from a position of extreme strength (having removed 3 players from the field) I opened up and gave Alf a needless option, which he took. I could lament Alf not failing anything when it mattered, making several dicey plays, but his luck was overall as bad as mine and it was my tactics that made his victory possible.”
“Given the TR difference and the overall better orc skills, I was worried. All nigglers showed up too.
2 handicaps for me : bone head, which I gave to Garret the Great and Bad Press (means kick offs more favorable to me).
Orcs tried to pick up the ball twice with the 13spp BoB, but failed, which at some point left me in a position to prevent the Orc touchdown.
2nd half, I was able to cage a bit, but Orcs started grinding me out. Once the cage was badly uncaged, I resorted in some ag3 dodges to take the best of it, and managed to make a rookie beastman score (Leonard Specht 9). Oh, the AG4 Chaos Warrior pass was also a nice asset.
Then, on the final 2 turns, I was able to prevent the Orc tying TD as orc ag4 blitzer was left open (orc prefered to foul rather than protect ball carrier, you greedy !). I POWed him while at the same time putting my FA blodger in touching position of the possible scorers. Pass was miessed and I won the game.
Woot !”
