Limpans Krabbs won the coin toss and chose to receive. Dragon's Deck, kicker, Lathander punted the ball deep into Ogre territory. The Ogres came out a little too aggressive and it resulted in a quick turnover as one was embarrassingly taken down by a rookie High Elf (double skulls, rr, double skulls). DD flooded the Ogre backfield and soon the ball was surrounded by both teams. Twice the ball bounced right into an Ogre's hands to the frustration of Coach Nathaniel "Wishmaster" Knyte. Nevertheless, the High Elves were relentless and brought down the Ogre right before midfield. The ball was picked up by the magnificent High Elf Catcher, Kensai and he was off running towards the end zone.

High Elves quickly surrounded their best player and the Ogres responded by trying to close in on their opponents loosely formed cage. Eraldryn set up a great block which opened up a hole for his teammate. Kensai rushed to the right side of the field and threw an accurate pass to the rookie Drisden who ran it in for a touchdown to end the first half.

DD received in the second half and LK lined up the field with all of their Ogres. Kensai was not to be thwarted and he opened up a hole down the center of the opposition's line. High Elves ran up through the gut of the defense and made themselves available for a pass. Talion was back playing QB waiting for his team to get open. An Ogre rushed down to put pressure on the Blitzer but he scrambled to the left side and handed the ball off to Eraldryn. The High Elf Catcher fumbled a quick pass and once again the Ogres converged on the ball.

A few turns passed by with both teams players flying on top of the ball. Like the first half, an Ogre caught the ball on the bounce. He lumbered past midfield and it looked like they were going to tie the game up, but he tripped up on his shoelace and fell face first causing a fumble. DD couldn't believe their eyes but they wouldn't let this opportunity slip away. Kensai sped towards the Ogre, Gobbe, and delivered a vicious knee deep into the Ogre's esophagus killing him instantly. Edge slipped in and picked up the ball from the remaining Ogre's nose and threw a shovel pass to the rookie Drisden who ran in his second touchdown of the game just as the buzzard sounded.
