“This was a good match-up, with Elfenlied living up the elven reputation of 'dodge dodge pass dodge'. However, the Bloodstorms mobility prevented the elves from getting too many touchdowns, and allowed the lizardmen to have very good scoring possibilities multiple times in the second half. Nelphine got caught out though as Shindahl was almost permeanently stunned, and no matter how many times they tried, the journeyman skinks just couldn't throw passes - sadly, there really was no need for them to do it, and the team was doing it purely because Shindahl would have.
Saurel deserved his MVP award; he blitzed an elf blodging ball-carrier, knocked the elf out, and caught the ball as it sailed into the air. Of course, he then couldn't do much with the ball, and in fact probably prevented any of the speedy skinks from getting it and possibly tying the game, but he caught it! Of course, this goes completely against his killing nature, so he now shrieks constantly, Frenzy-ing whenever he can to try to collect more skulls.
Ssska, another Saurus who managed to catch a dropped ball during a scrum, has decided to follow his elven heritage, and after carefully watching the elves in this match, now knows how to Dodge.
Congratulations Asiuks on a well deserved win.”
