“This was a bashing match. Back and forth, smack smack, KO, BH, KO, stun stun stunning! Both TD's were in the first half, but Shindahl went and got himself SI trying to single die block the ball carrier, when he could easily have had a 2d. Note that with Shindahl out, the team value (even getting back a 120k Saurus who was missing, and currently having an extra journeyman on the roster) dropped by 80k. Shindahl is a monster who is far too fragile. But he refuses to miss a block, a TD attempt, or a completion.
Martin, the Colleagues minotaur, was a true monster; every time he blitzed (which he did as often as he could) he knocked someone out. The Saurii began to refuse to wake up just to avoid facing him. Until the last one.. then he slammed himself straight onto Ssska's teeth, and the minotaur was taken off the pitch for the rest of the match.
The loner skinks did what they always do; supported the team immensely, without doing anything worthy of an SPP. 37 games and only 1 journeyman has ever got SPP (assuming the loner didn't die or get a -agi injury); that was the famous Kekksi, who died a few games later. Now Shrieking Bloodstorm finally has enough money to hire skinks.. and no skink wants to show their worth! Lousy journeyman.
Although the team played an excellent match, no new skills were acquired. Tlaloc believes this to be the Slaan-Gods way of saying that Tackle is a truly important skill, and therefore cannot be achieved by the Bloodstorm.
Thanks for an excellent match mr-maverick, lots of crazy skink plays + lots of beastmen cages was a lot of fun. Remind me to avoid your frenzier next time - he's scary!”
