“Principi won the coin toss and chose to kick. DeathClutch salivated at the sight of the near armorless Thralls of the Vampire army. Killface started things off right killing the much maligned Riverisco. Baron Stoke smelled blood in the air and tried to take out a Vampire by the sidelines. He was pushed over the edge and into the stands leaving DC with no tackling specialist. Fortunately, they didn't need it as Killface managed to take down the Superstar Vampire, Cesare Borgia "il Valentino." Spite would not waste the rare opportunity and fouled the fallen Vampire. The Beastman almost walked away with a Superstar kill under his belt but Principi's medical team was quickly on hand and worked a miracle. Cesare was back on the bench and ready to play on the next drive.
Meanwhile, Urijah finally got a handle on the ball. He would slash across the field to the right side where he was caged up behind the mighty Minotauro. The cage wasn't safe with the hypnotizing gaze of the Vampires opening up a shot at the ballcarrier. Urijah was taken down and stunned. The ball was fumbled and picked up by the super strong Vampire, Braccio.
Minotauro sized up the Vampire and he took on the challenge. "His Royal Savageness" showed why he was King and headbutted the Vampire on the chest. Braccio fell to the ground like a rock and the ball stuck to Minotauro's horns. Minotauro was confused and looked towards the sideline for assistance. The Wishmaster urged his Big Guy to run to the end zone. Minotauro nodded and rumbled towards the end zone dropping a couple Vampires en route. He would score just before the break to put his team up by one.
Principi received in the second half and a handful of Thralls continued to sleep in the knockout box. Agile Thrall Zot caught the high kick and ran to midfield. He sent out receivers on both sides of the field. Minotauro made a big play when he chain pushed Janos next to Zot. The Beastman would Jump Up and sack the ballcarrier causing a fumble. DC would gain the upper hand and Erioc recovered the ball. He would run it all the way into the end zone to put his team up by two.
Principi received for the last time and Coach Tarabaralla was determined for Braccio to score this touchdown. They first tried going up the right sidelines but it was quickly stuffed. Braccio ran towards the middle where the ball was thrown to him. Baron Stoke had a shot at the ballcarrier but the Beastman was hit by a stiff arm that dropped him to the dirt. Braccio scored to prevent his team from being shutout just as the game ended.
