“Infect the Uninfected won the coin toss and chose to receive. Their agile Rotter picked up the ball and ran behind his front lines. Minotauro of DeathClutch charged in to the Nurgle offense and had them huddled together. DC's Chaos Warriors helped corral the enemy leaving their ballcarrier open. Apollyon was sacked in the backfield and the ball fumbled. ItU managed to hold on long enough to stop the Chaos team from scoring a defensive touchdown. Joran failed to pick up the ball with an open lane to the end zone and the half ended scoreless.

DC received in the second half and they began to ground and pound the Nurgle team. Things fell apart for ItU on this drive with all their players prone at one point. Spite delivered the "Hoofstomp" to the fallen Apollyon seriously injuring him and leaving ItU without their best ball handler. With that in mind, DC thought they could capitalize and take the ball away again. They decided not to run out the clock and scored early in the second half.

ItU was outnumbered in this drive but they were not out. Nisroch the Pestigor threw up a prayer to the Nurgle God and his long bomb went through. It was caught by his teammate by the end zone. A Beastman would knock the ballcarrier down but the Pestigor managed to keep the ball in bounds. Succorbenoth knocked the Chaos player away and grabbed the ball for a touchdown to put his team on the scoreboard.

The Wishmaster knew he should have had his team run down the clock. Now they had to go into a hurry up offense with only two turns left. Fortunately, they still outnumbered their opponent. Baron Stoke would receive the hand off and speed straight up the right side of the field for the game winning touchdown to end the match.
