“Planet Pain Decaying won the coin toss and chose to receive. DeathClutch hit them with a Blitz! at the start that put the Nurgle forces on their heels. The ball was in a couple tackle zones but Kakik had the big hands to pick it and dodge away. CPOMB master, Wragg, went to work knocking players out. Venom punted a prone Nurgle Warrior to the head and seriously injured him, but he was thrown out of the game. The Referee has had their eyes on DC the past five games. It seemed as if a DC player even so far as looked intensely at a prone player, he'd get thrown out. Nevertheless, that started the blood bath. A few Chaos hitters dipped their claws in anti-regen sauce before the game. Erioc tested it out by devastating the not-so-aptly named Pestigor, Regen is Ma Thing! Regen was killed instantly and Coach Slex was disgusted.

Urged by his Coach, Wragg sought vengeance and went after the Wishmaster's favorite player and six time Coach's MVP, Baron Stoke. The Baron was blindsided by the Nurgle Warrior and killed. Medics came onto the field immediately but the Baron was pronounced dead angering the Wishmaster.

Meanwhile, Erioc, Joran, Kakik and the Pest of Nurgle were battling over the ball. Joran was able to hold on to the ball but the Beast loomed over him as the time started to run out. Dethacus came to the rescue and shoved the Beast away, freeing Joran. The Beastman ran into the end zone to put his team up by one at the break.

DC received in the second half and they were outnumbered by a couple players. Venom was back to pick up the ball. The three Chaos Warriors managed to hold off the majority of the Nurgle forces. Kakik thought he would be a hero and put pressure on Venom. Raze didn't like his ballcarrier being threatened and landed a haymaker to Kaki's face, breaking his jaw. Venom dropped back to eat more time off the clock. No more pressure came and he began to run up the left side of the field. A Rotter dodged away rushed Venom. Both players collided and fell in a heap. Neither team could get a decent chance to score and DC come away with a costly win.
