“Box Tails won the coin toss and chose to receive. At first their heavy hitting Sauruses tried to power through the forces of Chaos with their ballcarrier right behind them. DeathClutch fired back and began to whittle away at the Lizardmen front lines. The Skink ballcarrier saw his offensive line crumbling and retreated to their backfield. Urijah dodged away and put pressure on the Skink. The Beastman chased him around the backfield causing havoc and a couple fumbles. In a desperation play the Skink ballcarrier punted the ball to the other end of the field late in the half. DC was unable to make the long pass to score and the half ended 0-0.

DC received in the second half and Coach Anisdrin began relaying his frustrations against CPOMB teams although Killface was the lone CPOMB expert on DC. When the Wishmaster told him this fact, he backpedaled and stated that ALL Claw and Mighty Blow players were ruining the game for him. Drama aside, DC kept up the attack on the Lizardmen and for the most part had them contained.

A Saurus was not to be denied and knocked the ball loose. Dethacus picked up the ball and ran away from the pack. Big Kroxigor chased him and put a tackle zone on the Chaos Warrior while a little Skink came from behind to put him in a sandwhich. Dethacus tried to break his way out but the Kroxigor didn't budge and he was knocked down causing a fumble (double skulls).

Time was running out and DC had one more shot to score. A hand off to Etrigan slipped right through his fingers and the game ended in a draw. What a dissappointing match for the Chaos forces as they let this game get away from them. Hats off to the Box Tails for showing some heart despite all the casualties they suffered.
