DeathClutch won the coin toss and chose to receive. Killface started the first block by snapping Anglalos neck. Coach Jim B, wisely chose not to send the Apothecary out. Treeman Oak, was cut down by Onslaught and Spite went in for the "Hoofstomp" almost killing the Big Guy but the medical team saved him. Erioc on the next three turns killed Endras, knocked out a Lineman that got in his way, and then killed another Lineman that glanced his direction. Despite all the deaths his team had suffered, the Wardancer, Allimir, bravely leapt into the Chaos den to try and strip the ball loose. He was taken down instead and Venom "Punted" him on the skull as he laid on the ground. Allimir's head caved in and brain matter spilled out as he too was killed.
Yet, Blackbox True Grit was relentless. With only three Wood Elves left on the field, Nedheleg dodged into the cage and somehow blasted Stoke to the ground causing a fumble. Another Lineelf grabbed the ball to try to hold on to it before the half. Erioc put him to the dirt and the ball was loose. Venom picked it up and threw a short pass to Dethacus. The Chaos Warrior sped up to the goal line but tripped in his haste ending the first half scoreless.
BTG received in the second half and they were outnumbered six versus ten. Six Wood Elves was still enough to score and the Chaos team was wary keeping their Safeties deep. Gore put pressure on the Wood Elf QB flushing him out to the right side of the field. The Wood Elf ballcarrier was shoved out of bounds and Stoke picked up the ball. Gaelog would take him down but the Wardancer couldn't get the ball. Baron Stoke was given a chance to redeem himself and he did by throwing a quick pass to Onslaught. The Chaos Warrior ran up the field and into the end zone for a hard earned victory. Much respect to the Wood Elves and Coach Jim B, for not giving up the fight when tougher bashing opponents have thrown the towel for much less.
