DC began the attack on the WMD's trying to gain a player advantage early. Both teams lost a player and the numbers stayed even until Urijah made a break to the right side of the field. His offensive line shifted to the right to open a path for him. Eight heavy hitters from WMD's were armed with Claws and out of those, five loved to sandwhich an opponent between their body and the ground for extra hurt. The beastly, Clay was taken out early thanks to Killface but the DC Chaos Warrior was seriously injured on the ensuing turn. Spite dropped the "Hoofstomp" on a CPOMB Superstar and badly hurt him. The Ref caught him in the act and threw the sneaky git out of the game. Battles continued on the field and a 50% chance to make an attempt at DC's ballcarrier failed. WMD would not get another shot at Urijah and the Beastman ran in the touchdown to end the first half.
WMD's received in the second half but DC hit them with a Perfect Defense. DC's advantage lay in their Guarding abilities and the Wishmaster was able to fully utilize those skills. WMD's was put under heavy pressure and their Chaos Warrior had to resort to a long pass. Gore intercepted the ball and ran it the other way. There was no reasonably safe chance to run the clock out so the Beastman walked into the end zone for a 2-0 lead.
WMD's received for the last time and they finally had the numbers advantage. DC did enough to burn a couple turns off the clock and then concentrated on survival. WMD's touchdown was relatively uncontested as the DC players rallied around their remaining best player to mitigate any parting shots. DC gain a huge win against a very tough team that terrorizes the BlackBox Division.
