“We did just enough here to get a win against a challenging opponent, though ag5 beast Dr Death was killed.
We started receiving and moved up the flag. Dr Death run ahead but was blitzed and then brutally killed in a foul by a Marauder! A shock start so Draknil handed off to Moriati who dashed off to score as quick as possible. The Pact spent a couple of turns with the Elf carrier Lorg moving slowly towards the middle, but as he did Draknil seized his chance brilliantly blitzed him down and stole the ball. The Pact couldn't get him down so he escaped. Lord Erfiti caused an injury (M) while Draknil scored in turn 7. The Pact had a couple of turns to play but a failed dodge left Dwight Wight the chance to take the ball. Second half New Order of Chaos had a lot to do. Some decent deep defending from the Villains along with some animosity issues for the Elf meant it took till turn 5 for them to score, plus the 2 headed gobbo was injured by Lord Erfiti after a couple of attempts. Next the PAct had a perfect defence at kick off and did cause moments of worry. But Draknil kept the ball and eventually got his chance to break and score. Good game, and a rare one for the Forgotten Villains players mostly doing their jobs well.”
