“One of those games where Blood Bowl's dice game nature proved frustrating. Suffering a rip (Werdna) in the first turn, 3 out by turn 3 and another fouled out in turn 4 while we couldn't do anything put the game unexpectedly in the Skaven's control. Ref was asleep too. No problem for them to score late first half. Second half we had a good stab at driving back but with a ghoul MNG and another in the ko box our options were reduced. Eventually after some cageing in the middle Draknil went clear with Quickfingers supporting. Draknil was wrestled down but the ball went to Quickfingers who was just out of shamble scoring range. Draknil jumped up in and ran to position to receive a handoff and hopefully get partial cover. Alas a failed gfi for quickfingers followed by another 1 so Draknil dropped the ball meant the Skaven took a harsh 2-0 scoreline as they grabbed the ball back. Frustrating one though interesting at times. Not being able to hurt their main blitzer while he kept powing us was important too.”
