“A promising start for the Bombers. A short kick and brilliant coaching had Lord Borak and Obby Khan parked right over the ball. They rumbled up the field but Obby was crowd surfed by Tom Clawments soooooo close to the goal line.

Ottawa fans tossed the ball back into the mid field scrum and the fight was on. Much violence ensued until hulking Steve Morely emerged with the ball and lumbered for the goal line. It took Jim Croode and four Roughrisers to bring down the big man but niether team could move the ball into or away from the Ottawa endzone.

Jim Croode was everywhere at the end of the half, sending Kito Poblah and Doug Brown to the infirmary. Andrew Tummy killed Odell Willis on the last play of the half.

Max Spleenripper arrived in time for the second half keen to cut down the Roughriser's man advantage. The Bombers received and Max went to work killing cutting down Boney Golab and killing Abe Alofmygutz as they advanced to mid field.

Once again the bomber offense stalled mid-field. Once again Tom Clawments was dog-on-the-spot, blitzing the ball carrier, fetching the ball and scampering to the endzone. 1-0 Ottawa.

Ottawa kicked deep and pressured the ball carrier. More violence ensued and a wizard nailed Tom Clawments but he recovered to pick up the ball and pass it to Moe Latrine as the whistle blew to end the match. Ottawa 2-0 in a crushing defeat.”
