“A great game and the Forgotten Villains get another draw. Both of us were gnashing our teeth at various points but had good times too. The lizards s5, blodge, break tackle lizards, plus a quality Kroxigor and a diving tackle skink all posed problems. Though no bench gave us some chance.
First half the Lizards did a good kick near the back away from the side we preferred. 2nd turn a rr used for a Draknil dodge from a tackling Saurus and a later skull put us in trouble. Managed to score in turn 5 but it took some good recover dodging to get away. The Lizards came back well. Our wrestle ghoul did have a chance to blitz the skink carrier but the diving tackler took him down. 1-1 at half time but we were 2 players up. A serious injury for Biter in turn 8 hampered us somewhat.
We did a quality kick to the back which a skink dropped off the pitch and the the crowd threw it back upfield, but not quite far enough to help us immediately. Next turn a failed dodge gave us our opportunity with Kneecapper blitzing a covering skink away from the ball. Necrophil then scooped up the ball and dashed towards the endzone with a td in sight. But as happened a few times in Feb I saw a endzone fall!! Oh nuffle. We had to reroll the first gfi and then the 2nd gfi failed too. so the Lizards got the ball back and managed to score in turn 6 despite a both down hit from a zombie blitz.
We then had 3 turns left which was just enough. A misclick from Cameron plus a risky mummy block from me were some mistakes. Eventually with possession on the flank and the Kroxigor blitzed away by Lord Erfiti I needed Necrophil to wrestle, push or pow a Saurus. He managed and Draknil escaped to score. 2-2.”
