When Bill's beasts inflicted 4 casualties in their first 7 blocks, it looked like it was going to be a short and one sided game. Amazingly we quickly hit back, maiming a leegnd cpomber (apo'd, boo!) and surfing another. Sadly it cost us the ball and a rookie thro ra. Looking back, I could have achieved the same result differently. Such is hindsight.
The 2nd half was where our opportunity came. A misthrow gifted us position and the ball. The WMD's had a good follow up turn, taking out a few guys with 1D hits, so it was break now or break never. I did the impulse blitz - the wrong one - and it was all too easy from there on in.
Basilica performed admirably, adding 3 more notches to its belt, now 52 of them. That's a number BillBrasky might even respect.
Carpal was useless until a last turn foul that smashed up a rookie beastman. What a pity you couldn't do that to a cpomber you silly old skeleton!
Tarsals dead after 102 fouls, a good run.”
