Hass the star Norse thrower manouvered himself to catch Svein's kick. Yattie the Snow Troll then led their blocking start as he bashed down Dwight Wight. None out though and we started to hit back. There was 40 blocks a piece in this contest with the first error coming when Maesk's frenzy led him into a bad clash with Werdna (who had a very solid game including staying up on the LOS). Kneecapper Jones supported by the Faceless Hunter then was able to charge forward and take down Hass while Lord Erfiti injured Reill. Hass recovered to get the ball to Skittle and an Ulfwerener permanently killed Svein! The 93 game zombie kicker will be missed by the fans. Skittle stood up to Kneecapper's hit but as Parst fell we had another chance. Kneecapper smashed his ankle, Draknil dashed off with the ball and Dwight Wight broke Hellwan's hip. A crucial turn. Draknil eventually scored in turn 6 though Lord Erfiti and Ripper were ko'd (for a long time). After a kicking reorganisation we had little trouble preventing an equaliser though the Walking Dead took an injury and only Quickfingers Murphy regenerative ability saved him from being in a body bag!
At 9 v 9 we received. Noomi was quickly badly hurt by Kneecapper while Parst injured the Hunter in response. Impressive bloodshed. Dwight Wight also was taken out and Draknil scored while he could. With the match effectively won and just a quarter of the game left we managed to take the ball from Hass after he spilled the ball, though we couldn't force another score. Great game.
