“A pleasing win which leaves the Forgotten Villains development at its peak so far. Was tough on the Chaotic Basterds as after a couple of players went out everything seemed to go wrong for them.
We received the ball and went against our norm with Necrophil receiving the ball. Some Chaos were knocked down but NPhil spooned a quick pass attempt to Draknil. Butcher and Hitman got near the ball but after the Mino Bison took down Werdna then the foul, dirty player Sheriff had a rush of spite and fouled him too. The ref saw this blatant attack and sent him from the field. Costly for the Chaos as this added to with a cas from Quickfingers and a ko by Kneecapper (2dbs) made it 11 v 8 early on. Draknil then blitzed Hitman away and retrieved the ball. Some risky 1dbs didn't go well for the Basterds and Hitman also was ko'd by Werdna. As the ghouls moved up the pitch the Chaos were surrounded and Erfiti finished a Chaos Warrior's participation in the match. Eventually Necrophil scored in turn 8.
Second half we just had to keep calm while the Basterds had to try desperate manouveres which didn't go to plan. Prince and Pim in the backfield were overwhelmed (Pimp's long bomb attempt was just too far for him to even run to the throw point) and eventually we made it 2-0 through Dwight Wight. Though not before debutant Jack "Bootit" Baines booted the mino into the ko box and badly hurt a Chaos Warrior. Well deserving of his name.
