#6 Draknil "The Escape Artist" Rush – Pinched Nerve (MNG)
The 100th game wasn't a good one for us, other than an early steal moment before Draknil again did some tricky actions but then failed the 2+ (snakes here) and was cas'd. Saurii gave him a real shock and cause him to miss the next match, first time that has happened. With two cas's recently perhaps we have pushed him too far.
Early on as Necrophil rushed forward a skink dropped the ball. The Krox caused a casualty (regn'd) on Quickfingers and then on the second attempt the skink picked up and tried to pass it to his teammate. Fumble! Mumm-ra got next to the ball but Necrophil fell and was badly hurt. After a tussle Draknil got the ball and stood up to a Saurus hit. Alas he couldn't make the final dodge out next turn and we didn't recover. The seven high strength skilled Lizardmen players was too much for us and when we did get them down we couldn't hurt them. A 2nd half positioning error (partly due to frenzy distraction) allowed a blitz on the ball carrier and we fought for the ball but couldn't keep it. Tough one but still fun. Regen was the one saving grace today after suffering a pile of casualties from the high performance Saurii and Krox.
