We had Sinnebad join us for the game as we were down on strength and he actually proved useful with his m6 and block, in fact he took a Werewolf's knee out (regn'd) early on! The score was quite straight forward for Draknil as many of the players stayed fighting in the middle but we did lose key blocker Dwight Wight to injury.
Second half Rebecca got one back after a run down the side without much difficulty either, with only a small delay for Necrophil to be injured by a Wight's mighty blow.
As we setup again things looked extremely tough - players down, no wights and just one mummy above s3. Plus H-C quickly reformed as they scented a chance to take the ball from us. Draknil started on one side but saw the way blocked. He went across to the middle and stood up to the charging wolf. He then moved back to the first side and past halfway, and again he sidestepped an attack. H-C had recklessly put players forward without enough to be confident of keeping legend Draknil himself down. Mumm-ra and the Faceless Hunter supported him and suddenly a td chance was in sight!
Final turn I then either had 3+,2+ with dodge to score which I was going to do, or then thought of the blitz. However didnt notice my downed 2nd ghoul could remove the assists! Very stupid as would have been a 1 dicer against blockless. Instead Draknil was beaten down on his blitz! Was still very unfortunate to get a skull on the 2 dice when had reroll as well (1/9) but I find mistakes are often punished. Not the first time I have neglected a down player recently. Though Rikdon got away with letting my ghoul through most of the defence. Otherwise fun game though.”
