After a couple of shock matches we came in with 11 players and hoping to recover. Surprisingly we were drawn against such a superior side that we could afford a Wizard. Alas he was of little use here. Facing Elves we thought it would be hard to draw but at least we should be able to recover and maybe take out a few Elves. Alas instead it was the worst match in the history of the Forgotten Villains and the last for FUMBBLs greatest ever ghoul, Draknil "The Escape Artist" Rush, who was the only one ever to reach legend in Blackbox.
We decided to receive and were displeased to see the rain start pouring down. But Draknil picked up, moved into cage protection and a loner was ko'd by the Mountain. We shuffled across to one side but then things quickly went wrong. After a push of a zombie Megaton the stat freak catcher was allowed a shot at Draknil. The Elf dodged away from Walking Dead and charged into the cage bowling over Draknil. Draknil sidestepped and fended the Elf away as he fell to try to keep the ball in our territory. But somehow the Mountain and Quickfingers managed to fumble that ball back across to Megaton who gleefully dodged away with it. We then started to unravel as some of the Elves charged across the pitch. Draknil jumped up, ready to save the day, and pushed back Kaboom on his way back. But Mccatskill saw his chance, flung himself at Draknil and took down the great ghoul. Then Bizzaro came over and did the dirtiest, most violent foul he could manage. He was of course sent off. But the result - Draknil dead! Even an Ogre couldn't have borne the brutality. After that both our tactics and the ability of the Undead were useless, and the Elves moved with grace and fought with precise power. Blitzing when they kicked also troubled us. It was a landslide defeat and now the Forgotten Villains consider life without their agile captain. ”
