“A thrilling final to top a rather excellent league. The two teams were evenly matched and with the Dudes receiving they emphatically scored almost straight away. It was like ping pong then, scores for either side, until the Skaven luckily managed a blitz on the High elves going into turn 6. They did just enough to stop them scoring, to make it 2-2 going into half time.

Second half and the rats scored early, again managing a blitz when kicking off following the td. The High Elves managed to score though and it was a tense affair at 3-3. Both sides had failed two dodges with snakes and RRs were running low. Somehow the rats managed to score in their last turn and while they passed up on their third blitz, the Dudes could not capitalise in one turn.

Hirtem the de facto MotM for the Mallarthk Miracles, with 3 important casualties (even if one RIP was successfully healed). Duke Dridel died when dodging away from the bloodthirsty Skaven blitzers.

A tense game overall, and it would have been interesting to see how it would have turned out had the rats not got their two blitzes. Well played Throweck, who proved himself a formidable opponent but perhaps one with worse luck on the day.”
