Leading against the run of play, with only a handful of players left on the pitch thanks to good bashing and tactical fouling from the Minders, Sentinels lost a TD with minutes on the clock remaining. In over time it never looked like swinging back the Sentinels' way as the dwarves played with aplomb, bashing and KOing elves left right and center. Excellent tactics from their manager assured that the remaining elves had no chance, and they conceded again to lose the cup.
A major blow for the Sentinels, who had won the league, but really no surprise as they faced an excellent team of dwarves.
Special mention to He Who Will Not Be Named who, in his last game before retiring, couldn't quite repeat his feat of slashing anyone's tendons, and in fact left the pitch, and the game, with a broken jaw. Rumours are he is training up a replacement, news every team will dreading.”
