“Match #28: 2 - 1 victory versus the Dwarf Mineur. We played against a relatively newish coach, with a team of beardy ones with a good quantity of Guard and a nasty strong Blitzer. Fortunately, it was also a slow team, which allowed us to burst through for a solid touchdown in our first drive, by reforming a 3/4th cage on the side of their field. The second half of the first half saw us holding down the line.
That was too hard to repeat in the second half, however, when the Dwarfs took a dominant drive when it came to numbers and player pitch control. They choose to score instead of stall though, which allowed the Doctrine another couple of turns to score (or foul up completely). While giving the ball to our resident goblin, with the option to lob him out for a TTM-score, Tiallin Turncloak ran out as sole receiver, and managed to remain standing as the Dwarf onslaught came over him. It was easy enough to get the ball to Turncloak with a hand-off, and claim the victory!
Best player performance of the Doctrine side: Col-Jaron Vaarn, who clocked a touchdown ánd a casualty!”
