“Fulham lined up against the Skaven in a match that would live long in the memories of all concerned.

The Rats kicked off, but Fulham quickly put in a few tackles and came away with the ball. Then the ball and chain of the Rats kicked into action, with Goma leaving the field having been saved by the apothecary, while the Rats opened a gaping hole to the ball.

The first half battle was fierce, with the game swinging first one way then the other, with Dempsey finishing a move at the end of the half to level the score at 2-2.

The second half though, was all about Dempsey. Whatever he did turned to gold, whether it be flying in with tackles or picking up loose balls, he was there. Fulham went on to score 3 second half goals to no reply.

A special mention must go to Barry Hayles who scored a brace on his debut, and to the Rats coach Throweck who coped well with everything that was thrown at him, including a Niggled Rat Ogre on a both down.
