Today is my lucky day. I've won the first round of all 3 tournaments I entered this week. I hope this streak continues.

Throweck and I had a great game. I opted to kick and play the 2-1 orc vs. elf grind. It worked, but just barely. Those bleeping Wardancers knocked the ball loose twice and I had to scramble to recover both times. In the 2nd half, a mistake on my part nearly cost me the defensive score, but Throweck's dice were eating his rerolls and his Wardancer skulled the 1 die blitz (should have been -2die but for my screw-up). After that it was a matter of getting the ball onto a Blitzer (the Thrower was stunned at the time) and getting up field. The elves played to the bitter end, but a 7th turn foul on a WD yielded a game-ending stun.

Poor Fluffer bit the dust at the hands of Sallow. The crowd loved it so much they awarded him the MVP \o/

And for any admins who may be investigating, I gave Throweck permission to play 2 games at the same time because of our time difference and crazy schedules.”
