“Grabsteinklopper won the coin toss and chose to receive. Sudden Victory sent a couple players around the sides but the Ghoul ballcarrier went up the middle. The Elves would block the path but the Undead forces tried to bully their way through anyway. Elbereth and Amaranth held the lines as long as they could letting the clock tick away precious turns. Only a few yards away from the goal line and on the last turn, the Ghoul ballcarrier attempted to dodge away but Amaranth made a diving tackle that caught the foot of the Ghoul tripping him up and ending all chances of scoring in the first half.
Sudden Victory received in the second half and they sent receivers up the left side of the field. Grabsteinklopper stuffed the play but Joseph found Kensai wide open after he was freed up by Elbereth. The Elf Catcher caught the ball and sped into the endzone to put his team on the scoreboard early in the second half.
Grabsteinklopper received with plenty of time to score. An Undead player was caught trying to foul ending his team's turn early. Kensai used the opening to rocket down the Undead backfield putting pressure on the Ghoul ballcarrier. He would knockout the ballcarrier and grab the ball but tripped on a dodge. A Wight that was already at the scene had tripped him but couldn't hang on to the loose ball. Kensai would knock him out also then steal the ball for good sealing the Elven victory.
