“Kondor crossed the pitch and thanked Coach Throweck for the match. This one was epic. He now seriously owe Throweck a favor. With this match, the Evil Overlords have tested themselves against every race to set foot on the pitch.

To top it off, this was one of the most enjoyable games to play. Throweck is an outstanding coach and fun to chat with.

Today he brought a pair of S5 blood suckers onto the pitch. In the first turn of the game they failed their blood lusts and badly hurt two thralls. Nobbla came to the party, but all he could do was temporarily put a vampire on the bench. Despite knocking around the sunlight challenged team they all came back on after a quick score.

To make matters worse, the Evil Overlord Superstar Last Request was sent to the hospital. He will recover completely but a broken arm takes a while to heal.

As the second half opened, Kondor expected a trouncing. When Vampyre Legion dialed up a blitz to start the second half, he was pretty sure it was over. Instead, the S5 vampire hugged the sideline and for the second time in the match Battle Plans had a plan. In the first half a -3 die block denied a second score. This time a -2 die blitz pushed the big fella into the crowd.

A clearly Overlord biased crowd heaved the ball into the midst of the night goblin hoard. At that point, Self Destruct Mechanism removed another vampire and the goblins began fouling. The rookie thrall took the brunt of the punishment and was thoroughly staked to the turf. 5 fouls later the only Vampire player on the field was the vampire DP. The Trusted Adviser would score as time was about to expire.

Most of the vampire team came back for the last kick but they proved unable to even hurt the lowly armored Legion.
