On kick off the U-dogs cage around thrower Fr’bloo using Gerald as a shield and their goblin ‘allies’ as cheap fodder to soak up the dwarf hits. But with no way through the massed dwarf tackle zones the U-dogs have to switch to a TTM play which, as usual results in the ball being taken from the unconscious hands of its luckless goblin carrier by the opposition defence. The Dwarves take a leisurely stroll down field stopping only to maim and cripple my mutant players en rout to a turn 8 TD.

Second half and the KKL team seem to have a side bet on who can make the prettiest patterns out of U-dog blood as they settle into their characteristic slow advance down field. Not long after the scores are 2-0 to the KKL. An embarrassing mix up between U-dogs gifts the ball back to the Dwarf team once more shortly after receiving the restart and the rout is completed as the KKL score a third and final time for a 3-0 trouncing.

I doubt my name will trouble the great book of the dwarvish kings as I was thoroughly defeated by a superior team with superior skills and superior tactics. One of my heaviest losses so far but on a positive note no perm injuries. The U-dogs limp on.
