'Laz'pler the Last Player' was how he was known growing up, weak, slow, unskilled, he was always the last to be picked for any team. Despite this he dreamed of one day throwing a bloodbowl ball on a field of play for a proud and successful skaven team - when he came of age he attended a player draft near his home burrow in Ryedale, and was the only skaven not offered a place on any teams, they even passed him over as the team's jockstrap oiler. Dejected and despondent he wandered the tunnels under Ryedale and Bogart until he was approached by a strange goblin who offered him a binding lifetime contract on an 'up and coming' bloodbowl team. It was only later, and much to his distress, did Laz'pler discover that this team was perennial failures, the Six Feet Underdogs, and he would have to play alongside goblin players as well as a raft of other rejects, warpstone addicts and clinically deranged rodents.
