“With the losing streak now stretching to 12 matches, and having had their tails toughly whipped in several of those matches, the atmosphere in the U-dog changing room is as gloomy as a crypt; which is only appropriate because they are playing against an undead team.

Match Highlights:

U-dogs receive and immediately lay into the VC players killing two of their zombies (one of which regenerates but the other’s remains remain dead, or rather deader than it already was). The udead team are clearly worried by the presence of Ber’anx, the horned skaven blitzer, as they are devoting a lot of resources to trying to take the U-dogs MDR (Most Dangerous Rodent) out of the game before he can inflict any further damage. Un-able to out manoeuvre the undead defence the U-dogs attempt a passing play but See-em fails to hold onto the ball whilst under pressure from a shambling zombie and the attack comes to an end. The Challenged retrieve the loose ball and make a run down the touchline, almost the full length of the field to score at the other end – halftime scores 1-0 to Vitally Challenged.

Second half and the VC ghouls seem to be having problems picking up the ball, nothing to do with the coating of troll bile the U-dogs coach painted on it during the interval I’m sure. Once again the VC coach is focussing all his attention on Ber’anx, and with good reason as Ber’anx is able to twist away from his marker and impale a passing ghoul on his horns, but this is too little to prevent the VC from going over for their second score.

With the half drawing to a close there is just enough time in the match for Gerald to launch Chetnat-sets down field for a conciliation TD, making the final score 2-1 to the Vitaly Challenged and extending the U-doge losing streak to 13 matches.
